Planning permission and building regulations for rear kitchen/dining room extension and internal re modelling

Client Brief: to increase the kitchen/ dining room area and remodel the interior to maximise space for entertaining and enjoying the sunsets over Chesil Beach. The extension needed to be in keeping with the main house, recutting and reusing the same Portland stone previously used on site.

Design Solution: a single-story rear extension with sliding doors opening out to maximise gorgeous sunset views over Chesil Beach. The internal re modelling created a spacious fluid entertainment space, allowing guests to move seamlessly from sitting room to kitchen to outside.
